Serta para penonton dari berbagai kalangan yang datang ke Mandalika. Semoga tahun depan di ajang MotoGP Mandalika dan WSBK kita dapat tembus 2 kali lipatnya,” ujar Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno.
Sandiaga kagum dengan kesuksesan World Superbike (WSBK) 2022 digelar di Sirkuit Pertamina Mandalika, Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) pada 11-13 November 2022 yang mampu memecahkan rekor penonton terbanyak setelah sebelumnya tercatat di WSBK Sirkuit Inggris. Di Mandalika menembus 51.629 orang selama 3 hari (di Inggris 42 ribu orang).
WSBK 2022 di Mandalika merupakan dua seri terakhir sebelum memasuki ronde penutup di Sirkuit Phillip Island, Australia. Bukan balapan sembarangan, WSBK Mandalika 2022 berlangsung meriah dan ramai. Mulai dari pembalap Aruba-it Racing Ducati, Alvaro Bautista yang mengunci gelar juara dunia WSBK 2022.
